Meet Pastor Ken

Pastor Ken Claytor is a pastor, communicator, and leader with a passion for helping people grow in faith, lead with wisdom, and build strong lives and families centered on God.

Pastor Ken Claytor has a heart to bring people of all backgrounds together to experience the power and love of Jesus. For over 18 years, he has been sharing the gospel with people across the globe while, at the same time, redefining diversity and breaking barriers throughout the local church.

As pastors, he and his wife Tabatha lead Alive Church, a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, and economically diverse ministry with campuses in Orlando, Florida, Gainesville, Florida, Tampa, Florida, Cricuma, Brazil, and online. Starting with just 6 adults, they have grown the church to see thousands of individuals worshipping God every weekend. Their assignment is not just to share the good news, but to show how the gospel of Jesus can transform, empower, and equip people to walk in all that God has for them.

Ken is an author, founder of the Alive Leadership Institute, the Alive Conference host, and a sought-after conference speaker. He is a family man. Married to Tabatha for 26 years, they live in Orlando, Florida with their 3 children, Hannah, Charity and Kenny.

THE WORLD’S RACIAL WOUNDS SEEM AS DEEP AND AS UGLY AS EVER. IS THERE REALLY ANY HOPE?

The answer is yes, absolutely—but only if we answer the most fundamental question: “How does God view race?” Only when we get His perspective are we going to find lasting solutions.

In
As It Is in Heaven, Ken Claytor explores this question, debunks myths and stereotypes about race and racism in the modern church, and encourages believers to get involved in enacting change right where they are. Can we change the entire world? No. But we can begin to change our world by holding conversations, listening, studying Scripture, and humbly admitting where we’ve been wrong.

Packed with practical next steps, inspiring stories, and Biblical discernment, As It Is in Heaven casts a vision for a church that shows the hurting world a bit of what heaven will be like: a place with people from every nation, tribe, people, and language—living in harmony.

What happens when the butterflies go away? You go catch them again.

Butterfly Love is the modern-day love story of Ken and Tabatha Claytor, two imperfect people who fell hard for each other, nearly lost it all, and found their way back to love through faith, forgiveness, and sheer determination. Told in both of their voices, this book is honest, raw, and refreshingly real.

From the thrill of new romance to the ache of rejection… from rebuilding trust to reigniting intimacy, Ken and Tabatha take you on a journey through the highs and lows of a 25+ year marriage rooted in faith and sustained by grace.

Whether you’re dating, newly married, or years in and barely hanging on, this book is for you. It’s a reminder that love doesn’t have to grow stale. That God can restore what was broken. And that Butterfly Love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a choice. It’s a rhythm. It’s a lifestyle.

Doing Life with Ken and Tabatha Podcast

We have one major goal. We want to help you grow in love with God and grow in love with the people God has placed in your life. The way we do that is simple. We take what we’ve learned and we share it. We’ve been married for 26 years, and we always jokingly say it’s been the best 24 years of our lives. The first two years were pretty bad. We had all the classic problems: silent treatments, weaponized sex, a lack of communication skills, financial pressures, and more. But we learned tools and principles from God’s Word that helped us turn our marriage around. Now we’re happy to say we’re best friends.

This is primarily a marriage and relationships channel, but it’s not just that. It’s also a personal growth channel, because we believe when you get better, the marriage gets better. So, get ready to have some fun. We’re going to talk about our highs, our lows, and everything in between. Honestly, you’ll probably learn more from our mess-ups than you will from our mountaintop moments.
